Manage special events e.g. Christmas cards, Christmas dinner.
Manage control system for: Contek vehicles, Office keys.
Keep the office organized, professional looking and clutter free.
Coordinate office cleaning.
Manage in-office storage space; and off-site storage.
Project Administrative Support – Billable Time
Working for and with Contek Project Engineers, Consultants or Project Managers, assist with project documents and reports; task may include proof reading, arranging for off-site printing, producing project binders, including cover sheets and tabs; producing CDs and DVDs; ensuring reports to clients are professional looking with proper formatting, Contek logo and so on; ensure shipping and appropriate recordkeeping.
Provide where required any other clerical assistance on projects, including setting up and maintaining the files on Contek’s network server.
Prepare and send client specific reports e.g. BP Monthly Hours Worked report.
Office Equipment
Toner/printer cartridges supplies – maintain an appropriate inventory of printer cartridges.
Coordinate any maintenance, repair, purchase of office equipment e.g. copiers, printers etc.

This position is initially an interim solution and all candidates will be considered for the full time direct hire role.

Job Requirements:
Analyzes the needs of the department and establishes priorities for feasibility studies, systems design, and implementation to develop new and/or modify the company’s information processing systems.
Communicates with users and management to help identify problems and work on solving them.
Works with Operations and Financial Department to automate processes.
Stays informed about changes in technology and how they will affect Business Services.
Maintains inventory of MIS assets.
Manages a group of employees and consultants.
Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.

Education/ Experience/ Skills:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science.
Eight years of progressive experience in management, five of  which must have been at the middle-management level or above.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Must be well organized and able to handle a variety of tasks.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may encounter a modest degree of physical exertion in lifting, moving, or carrying supplies, records and equipment.  Position requires approximately 75% sitting time and 25% intermittent body movements such as walking, standing, driving, bending, lifting, stooping, kneeling, climbing stairs and reaching.  Nature of duties presents little exposure to infectious and chemical hazards or job related accidental injury.
