Our North Houston, TX client is seeking a contract to possible hire Credentialing Secretary.

Job Description:
Responsible for performing various secretarial and clerical duties within the Central Credentialing Department in accordance with company policy and procedures.
Assists with the credentialing and re-credentialing of applications for medical staff membership pursuant to Medical Staff Bylaws, The Joint Commission, as well as federal and various state agencies.
Assists Credentialing Coordinator and other office staff with duties – such as making copies, faxing, preparing mailings, etc.
Assists with maintenance of practitioner medical license/certification data.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Previous experience providing credentialing services in a physician group or hospital preferred.
Must be organized with a strong attention to details.
Able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, Spanish a plus.
Must have excellent computer knowledge with word processing skills.

Administrative
Answer phone; act as a gate-keeper.
Sort, distribute daily mail.
Act as receptionist.
Maintain an organized and efficient filing system:

BSEE and PE with 10+years experience in mission critical facility design and engineering gained while working for an MEP firm or A/E firm, including the following:

Preferred: Meeting the following is preferred:
Critical facilities commissioning experience
Experience leading the electrical engineering discipline on critical facilities projects
Licensed PE required, an established NCEES record is preferred
Proficiency in AutoCAD / Revit a plus, especially the ability to effectively communicate electrical design intent to clients and CAD techs

Our West Houston, TX client is seeking a contract to possible hire Corporate Receptionist.  As an integral member of the Facilities Management Team, the role holder will be responsible for being the face of the Houston office by providing front-end support to a large professional office by offering telephone support and greeting external and internal clients.  Additional tasks will include providing administrative support to internal departments and will require an ability to be a self-starter.

Responsibilities:
Answer main telephone reception line.

Requirements:

Our Dallas, TX client is seeking a Collections/AR Representative for a temp to hire position.

Job Description:
Responsible for collecting on past due receivables.
Provide extensive customer service assistance (internally/externally) to inquiries.
Evaluate the status of unpaid accounts and implement procedures to reduce delinquencies.
Review open Accounts Receivable (AR) with the A/R Manager on a monthly basis.
Prepare accounts for external collections.
Process daily credit card transactions.
Responsible for invoicing and statements.
Reporting
Reconciliations
Special projects as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
Meet performance expectations for collection efforts for assigned accounts based upon individual goals and objectives, e.g., a minimum calls per day, contact percentage, promises/calls ratio, promises kept.
Place or receive calls in priority order as established by management. Negotiate payment arrangements with clients to cure delinquency, evaluating ability and willingness to pay.
Determine cause of delinquency and best course of action to assist delinquent customer.
Document all collection efforts for each assigned account which may include using stop and hold status, in the collection system.
Communicate collection efforts to sales reps on assigned accounts.
Process new potential customer credit applications.
Communicate regularly with collections manager on status of problem accounts.
Ensure that appropriate letters are sent to debtors.
Required Skills and Competencies:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. High school diploma or equivalent
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good decision-making and problem-solving skills
Good time management/organizational skills
Ability to utilize Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel.
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work flexible schedule, including overtime as needed

Our Katy, TX client is seeking a contract to possible hire Dental Insurance Claims Specialist.

Responsibilities:
Receives, and performs review of dental claims for payment for benefits, checking for completeness and returning claims for additional information as appropriate
Verifies patient eligibility for coverage of claims received, checking appropriate records for birth date, social security number, date of eligibility, and type of coverage
Analyzes claims for possible discrepancies including duplication of services, duplication of billing, and incorrect procedure identification, recommending consultant review of claims as appropriate
Identifies applicable primary insurance carriers for claims received and coordinates payment of benefits with primary carriers
Calculates amounts payable for claims received, according to established guidelines; enters payment amounts into accounts payable records; and submits to appropriate authorities for approval
Prepares specific claims for pre-authorization requests for consultant review, preparing files and indicating policy limitations related to procedures being reviewed
Process pre-authorization requests, indicating consultant’s decision, calculating amount to be paid, and returning request to dentist office
Calculates premium costs for participating school districts, auditing school district enrollment adjustments and adjusting premium as appropriate
Processes and monitors enrollment forms of new employees and verifies eligibility and dependent information
Provides information regarding status of claims, dental plan benefits, and clarification of consultant’s review to staff, employees, school districts, insurance companies, and dental offices
Obtains information related to coordination of benefits, dental treatments, fees charged, and clarification of claims from staff, employees, school districts, insurance companies, and dental offices
Maintains accurate reports and prepares reports related to dental plan enrollment and dental claims received, paid, pending, and in-process
Processes and monitors accounts payable and receivable related to dental claims, making accurate postings to financial ledgers
Perform auditing of claims reimbursements, maintaining audit trails and ensuring proper fiscal controls
Operates internal accounting information systems, microcomputer hardware and software including spreadsheet and word processing programs
Serves as an information source or intermediary regarding dental insurance and dental claims
Performs related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
2-3 years of related experience
Basic knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
Establishment and maintenance of records and files
Modern office methods, practices, and procedures
Dental procedures and terminology
Standard office equipment including microcomputer, calculator, copier, and fax machine
Proper English usage including grammar, punctuation, spelling, and sentence structure
Communicate effectively in oral and written form
Identify problem areas or situations, determine problem causes, and take appropriate action to resolve identified problems
Make arithmetical calculations quickly and accurately and identify and correct errors in arithmetical calculations made by others
Operate standard office equipment and machines including microcomputer, copier, fax machine, and calculator
Effectively represent the County Office of Education in working with internal/external customers
Establish and maintain effective work relationships with those contacted in the course of assigned duties.
